Job summary

Banyan Tree Dubai invites ambitious hospitality graduates to join as a Housekeeping Management Trainee. You will work alongside our leadership team to develop your management and operational skills in a luxury hotel setting.

This program offers hands-on exposure to guest rooms, public areas, linen, and inventory management, plus mentorship and structured learning to prepare you for future supervisory roles in our global brand.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed diploma/degree in Hospitality Management.
• Interest in Housekeeping operations and people leadership.
• Excellent communication in English; Russian/French/German are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across housekeeping functions (guest rooms, public areas, linen & laundry).
• Assist with daily departmental activities & scheduling.
• Learn luxury cleanliness, presentation & quality standards.
• Support room inspections & guest room quality checks.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering & other departments.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic & motivated Housekeeping Management Trainee to join our team at Banyan Tree Dubai.

This is an exciting opportunity for hospitality graduates or students nearing completion of their studies who are looking to develop their leadership potential, gain hands‑on experience in luxury hotel operations & build a strong foundation for a future management career in hospitality.

Working alongside our experienced Housekeeping leadership team, you will gain valuable exposure to daily departmental operations, quality standards, team coordination & the attention to detail that defines exceptional luxury hospitality.

Through a combination of practical experience, mentorship & structured learning, you will develop an understanding of what it takes to lead a successful Housekeeping operation.

What You'll Be Doing

Gain hands‑on experience across key Housekeeping functions, including guest rooms, public areas, linen & laundry operations.

Support the Housekeeping leadership team in coordinating daily departmental activities & ensuring smooth operations.

Learn & apply luxury hospitality cleanliness, presentation & quality standards.

Assist with room inspections, quality checks & ensuring guest rooms meet established standards.

Develop an understanding of team scheduling, task allocation, productivity & operational planning.

Support the coordination of guest requests, special arrangements & personalised service experiences.

Gain exposure to inventory management, linen control, supplies & cost‑conscious operational practices.

Learn how to manage guest feedback, resolve operational challenges & maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.

Work collaboratively with Front Office, Engineering & other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.

Participate in departmental briefings, training sessions & team development activities.

Shadow Housekeeping leaders to develop supervisory, communication & decision‑making skills.

Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency, service quality & the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field.

A genuine interest in Housekeeping operations, luxury hospitality & people leadership.

A positive attitude, willingness to learn & enthusiasm for developing a career in hotel management.

Good communication skills in English are essential. Proficiency in Russian, French or German would be an asset.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail & a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

A team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

A natural ability to build positive relationships, motivate others & lead by example.

An interest in learning about operational planning, team supervision & quality management.

Flexibility, adaptability & a willingness to gain practical experience across all areas of Housekeeping.

Previous hospitality or Housekeeping experience is an advantage but not essential.
