Job summary

HYF Medical Center – Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician with a focus on Longevity Medicine and Chronic Disease Management to join our medical team.

The successful candidate will provide internal medicine consultations, preventive care, health assessments, and long-term management of chronic conditions for VIP and international patients. They should have DHA license and extensive experience, with strong communication for high-net-worth clients.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and DHA license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive internal medicine consultations and clinical assessments.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused Internal Medicine Physician with a strong interest or background in Longevity Medicine and Chronic Disease Management to join our medical team.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive internal medicine consultations, preventive healthcare, health assessments, and long-term management of chronic conditions. The role will focus on helping patients improve their overall health, reduce health risks, optimize lifestyle and metabolic health, and support healthy aging and longevity.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and experience working with VIP, international, and high-net-worth patients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Medicine Consultation & Patient Assessment

Conduct comprehensive internal medicine consultations and clinical assessments.

Review medical history, symptoms, medications, lifestyle, family history, and health risks.

Perform physical examinations and order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic investigations.

Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic information.

Establish appropriate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.

Provide clear explanations and professional medical advice to patients.

2. Longevity & Preventive Healthcare

Conduct comprehensive health and longevity assessments.

Assess cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, nutritional, and lifestyle-related health risks.

Develop personalized preventive healthcare and healthy-aging plans.

Support patients in optimizing health, wellness, physical performance, and quality of life.

Provide evidence-based lifestyle recommendations relating to nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, and other relevant health factors.

Monitor patients' progress and adjust healthcare plans according to clinical needs.

3. Chronic Disease Management

Diagnose and manage common chronic medical conditions.

Provide long-term management and follow-up for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular risk factors, and other chronic diseases within the physician's scope of practice.

Monitor treatment effectiveness and potential side effects.

Review medications and optimize treatment plans when appropriate.

Coordinate referrals to specialists when required.

Maintain continuity of care and long-term patient relationships.

4. Precision & Personalized Healthcare

Review laboratory, diagnostic, lifestyle, and health assessment data to develop individualized healthcare strategies.

Identify potential health risks and areas for early intervention.

Work with the multidisciplinary clinical team to provide personalized healthcare solutions.

Integrate appropriate preventive, functional, lifestyle, and longevity approaches within the physician's professional scope and evidence-based medical practice.

5. VIP & International Patient Care

Provide professional, personalized medical services to VIP and international patients.

Communicate medical conditions, treatment plans, and recommendations clearly and professionally.

Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, comfort, and dignity.

Provide a high standard of patient experience throughout consultation and follow-up.

Build long‑term professional relationships with patients and families.

6. Multidisciplinary Collaboration

Work closely with specialists, nurses, nutritionists, health coaches, and other healthcare professionals.

Coordinate patient care and referrals when required.

Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.

Support the development of comprehensive healthcare and longevity programs.

7. Clinical Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.

Document consultations, diagnoses, investigations, treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow‑up.

Ensure compliance with DHA requirements, UAE healthcare regulations, and HYF Medical Center policies.

Maintain high standards of patient safety, medical ethics, infection control, and clinical quality.

Ensure patient information is handled with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications & Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).

Valid DHA Internal Medicine Specialist/Consultant License or DHA eligibility, as applicable.

Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine preferred.

Strong experience in chronic disease management and preventive healthcare.

Experience in longevity medicine, preventive medicine, functional medicine, metabolic health, or health optimization is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular, metabolic, endocrine, and age-related health conditions.

Excellent clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.

Strong ability to interpret laboratory and diagnostic results.

Excellent patient consultation and communication skills.

Experience with VIP, international, or high-net-worth patients is highly preferred.

Experience with EMR/HIS and electronic clinical documentation.

BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage.
