Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance role responsible for responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance across kitchen and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will inspect equipment, manage inventory, adhere to safety standards, and perform basic repairs such as painting and lighting tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with guests and colleagues clearly.

• Physical endurance to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and attend to maintenance issues.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines for proper operation.
• Identify and operate shut-offs for equipment and buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Follow safety policies and use Lockout/Tagout where required.
• Repair interior/exterior surfaces; paint, patch drywall, replace bulbs and filters.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment and electrical components.
