Job summary

Le Méridien is seeking a non-management Hotel Maintenance Technician in Dubai to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment. You will handle tools and materials, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with team members to keep facilities running smoothly.

The role requires basic maintenance knowledge, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a proactive, guest-focused attitude in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is a plus.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment; carry tools and equipment as needed.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts; use Lockout/Tagout when performing maintenance.
