Qualifications

• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and attend to maintenance issues.
• Communicate with guests to resolve issues with maintenance problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for proper operation.
• Identify and operate shut-off valves and utility shut-offs for buildings and equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards or injuries; complete safety training.
• Move, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; work on stairs and ladders as needed.
• Program TVs and manage housekeeping/engineering-related inventory.
• Adhere to quality expectations and maintain professional appearance.
