Job summary

RTC-1 Employment Services presents a role for a Hotel General Cashier in a 5-star Dubai hotel. You will oversee cash flow from hotel outlets, ensure accurate recording, and support the Finance team with reconciliations and reports.

The position requires at least 1 year in hotel accounting with cashiering experience, proficiency in Opera PMS, Micros POS and MS Excel, and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality. Local candidates preferred; UAE work permit is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hotel accounting experience, including hands-on cashiering.
• Knowledge of cash handling, petty cash, bank deposits and daily reconciliations.
• Proficient in Opera PMS, Micros POS and MS Excel.
• Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.

Job Description

• Manage daily cash collections from hotel outlets, Front Office, F&B and other departments, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions.
• Verify daily cash receipts, cashier reports, petty cash expenses and bank deposits, ensuring compliance with hotel accounting policies.
• Prepare daily cash summaries, maintain cash registers and supporting documents, and investigate discrepancies in coordination with the Finance team.
• Assist the Accounts Department with cash reconciliations, financial reporting, internal audits and proper handling of hotel funds

Requirements

• Asian, aged 30 years old and below.
• Minimum 1 year of hotel accounting experience, including hands-on cashiering.
• Knowledge of cash handling, petty cash, bank deposits, daily reconciliations, and basic accounting.
• Proficient in Opera PMS, Micros POS, and MS Excel, with integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
