Job summary

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accounts Clerk to assist the Finance Team with accounting records and payroll updates. A degree in hotel management or accounting and at least one year in a hotel environment are preferred, along with excellent English communication and computer literacy.

Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is an asset. The role requires accuracy, integrity and the ability to work well in a team within a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Computer literacy is a must.
• Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Make requisitions for stationary and office supplies.
• Maintain accounting records and receive and distribute Finance Department incoming mail.
• Ensure attendance sheets from different departments are approved before forwarding to Paymaster.
• Assist the Paymaster in the departmental attendance sheet administration.
• Distribute pay slips to the Department Heads and obtain their signatures upon delivery.
• Answer incoming calls promptly, transferring calls wherever necessary and record messages accurately.
• Call up suppliers to collect pending payments.
• Maintain high level of record confidentiality.
