Job summary

Archive is seeking a diligent General Cashier to manage cash deposits from the Front Office, reconcile funds, and ensure accurate daily reporting. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and integrity within a hotel environment.

The candidate should have a degree in hotel management or accounting and at least one year of hotel experience, with strong English communication and computer literacy. Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or accounting.
At least 1 year of experience in a hotel environment.
Excellent English communication skills; computer literacy essential.
Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is an asset.

Responsibilities

Reconcile house fund daily and keep the safe orderly.
Open Front Office safe each morning with authorized staff and collect deposits.
Report missing envelopes immediately to the Director of Finance/Financial Controller.
Check items against the deposit list; note discrepancies in the deposited sheet.
Report discrepancies to Income Auditor and Finance leadership.
Liaise with money exchange company and exchange foreign currency.
