Job summary

Centro Sharjah is seeking a proactive General Cashier to manage front office deposits and daily reconciliations. The role requires accurate cash handling, strong English communication, and familiarity with hotel financial systems.

Ideal candidates will have a hotel or accounting background, with at least one year of hotel experience and the ability to coordinate with finance and front office teams to ensure secure, accurate deposits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in hotel management or accounting with at least 1 year of hotel experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile house fund daily and keep the safe area organized.
• Open Front Office safe each morning in presence of Finance staff and Front Office Manager / Night Manager and collect the deposit envelopes.
• Report discrepancies to the Director of Finance / Financial Controller.
• Check deposits against the list and record variances in the deposited sheet.
• Coordinate with money exchange company for currency exchange as needed.
