Job summary

Accor's Ras Al-Khaimah property seeks a skilled Painter to deliver high-quality interior and exterior painting across facilities. You will prep surfaces, apply finishes, and ensure safety standards while collaborating with facilities and maintenance teams to keep our hotels in pristine condition.

The role requires trade certification or demonstrable experience in painting and decorating, with a focus on quality, detail, and proactive problem-solving in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or demonstrable industry experience
• Proven experience in commercial painting and facility maintenance
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques and finishing standards
• Proficiency in color matching, mixing and application

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality interior and exterior painting projects with surface preparation and finishing
• Perform wallpaper application, plaster patching, caulking, and decorative work
• Conduct surface prep including cleaning, sanding and priming
• Identify wear-and-tear issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Maintain and operate painting equipment safely and efficiently
• Mix and match colors to project specs
• Follow health, safety and fire-life-safety protocols
• Collaborate with engineering and housekeeping to coordinate projects
• Document work, materials used, and issues encountered
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and manage deadlines
