Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to join the Engineering team, ensuring reliable operation of hotel electrical systems, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. The role requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years in a hotel or hospitality setting, with strong English communication.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, respond to issues, and support energy-saving initiatives while adhering to Rixos policies and ISO

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical systems across the hotel complex
• Ensure all electrical works are executed to the highest professional and safety standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and installations
• Support emergency response procedures and ensure full compliance with fire & life safety standards
• Maintain workshop inventory and ensure proper stock control of materials
• Ensure adherence to Rixos Policies & Procedures and ISO standards (Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety)
• Contribute to energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
• Work collaboratively with all departments to support smooth hotel operations
• Participate in task force assignments and support special projects when required
