Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid invites applications for an Electrical Technician to join the Engineering team. This role ensures seamless operation of electrical systems across the hotel, delivering safe, efficient, and guest-focused service in line with Rixos standards.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to issues promptly, monitor and repair equipment, and support energy-saving initiatives while collaborating with departments to maintain high safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical systems across the hotel complex.
• Ensure all electrical works meet professional and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and installations.
• Support fire life safety standards and ISO compliance.
• Maintain workshop inventory and stock control of materials.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
