Job summary

Occidental Sharjah Grand, part of Barceló Hotel Group, is seeking an experienced hotel leader to oversee all departments and ensure exceptional guest experiences at this 4-star property in Sharjah.

You will develop strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, monitor KPIs and market trends, lead a high-performing team, ensure service, quality, and safety standards, and actively engage with the local community to elevate the hotel's profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and Human Resources, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts to achieve financial targets, maximize profitability, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness throughout the hotel, addressing guest feedback and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement and retention.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
• Manage supplier relationships, procurement, and inventory control to optimize costs and maintain quality.
• Represent the hotel in the local community and build strong relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, tourism organizations, and business partners.
• Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives in line with Barceló Hotel Group corporate social responsibility policies.
• Report regularly to regional management on hotel performance, challenges, and opportunities.
