Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort invites you to join our service team as a waiter/server, delivering warm, attentive hospitality in a luxury beachfront setting along Dibba. Responsibilities include greeting guests, understanding menu items and promotions, handling POS transactions, assisting with service details, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in guest service is an asset; familiarity with POS systems helps.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service.
• Understand the Server’s tasks in the outlet.
• Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system.
• Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Present a positive first impression of the establishment’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
• Greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter names into the computer system, and show guests to their table and bid them farewell as they leave.
• Inform guest about current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
• Issue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bill for to-go orders and to receive payments by validating credit charges; approving checks; accepting currency.
• Handling guest reservation details from the reservation system, table allocation, dietary requirements, billing
