Rixos is seeking a Hostess in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, to create a warm first impression, greet guests, and manage seating and reservations. You will support standard service procedures, coordinate with the team, and help maintain a high level of guest satisfaction in a luxury hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a Hostess or similar F&B role, strong English communication, and a polished appearance.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Hostess or in a similar F&B role.
• Good verbal communication in English; Arabic/Russian a plus.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage service.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests warmly and escort to tables.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and seating assignments.
• Know restaurant layouts, hours, menus, promotions, hotel services.
• Answer phone inquiries per service standards.
• Monitor guest flow and waiting lists during busy periods.
• Coordinate with team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain hostess desk and dining area in a clean, presentable state.
• Assist with menu prep, cashiering, and restaurant operations as needed.
• Work with colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient service.

Job Description

The Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting and seating guests, managing restaurant reservations, and ensuring an organized flow of service. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tables
• Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, table assignments, and special requests
• Maintain accurate knowledge of restaurant layouts, operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel services
• Answer telephone enquiries professionally and according to service standards
• Monitor guest flow and organize waiting lists during busy periods
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to enquiries, and assist with resolving concerns
• Conduct table visits and coordinate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented hostess desk and dining area
• Support menu preparation, cashiering procedures, and restaurant operations when required
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Hostess or in a similar food and beverage role
• Good verbal communication skills in English, additional languages (Arabic, Russian) are an advantage.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills
• Pleasant, professional, and well-groomed appearance
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
• Basic computer skills
