Job summary

Minor International's Anantara Dubai hotel is seeking a courteous Restaurant Hostess to join the team. You will welcome guests, seat them warmly, and help ensure a smooth dining operation.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean, well-set tables, following SOPs and reservation policies, guiding guests, and coordinating with front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional hospitality.

A professional demeanor, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Restaurant Hostess or in hospitality is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Professional grooming and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team with colleagues to ensure timely service and a smooth running operation.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and SOPs regarding guest service, operation and grooming.
• Perform every guest interaction in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Maintain professional telephone etiquette and understanding of reservations policies and procedures.
• Be familiar with the services offered in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.
• Greet and seat guests in the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner and set the tone of welcoming hospitality.
• Ensure the front or restaurant is always covered and the entrance is welcoming and attractive.
• Check each table to ensure it is clean and fully set before seating.
• Check with guests to get feedback on the quality of their experience and address issues promptly.
• Pitch in and help in service whenever needed.
• Work with the Cashier and relieve Cashiers on break.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To work as a team with colleagues to ensure timely service and a smooth running operation.


• To understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures with regard to guest service how to run the operation and personal discipline and grooming.


• To perform every guest interaction in a friendly and welcoming manner


• To maintain professional telephone etiquette and a perfect understanding of reservations policies and procedures.


• To be completely familiar with the services offered in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.


• To greet and seat guests in the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner and set the tone of welcoming hospitality that will continue during the entire guest experience.


• To ensure that the front or the restaurant is always covered and that the entrance to the restaurant is as welcoming and attractive as possible.


• To check each table to ensure that it is clean and fully set up before any guests are seated at the table.


• To check with guests to get feedback on the quality of their experience. Share any problems that arise with outlet managers but try to take care of the problem at once.


• Pitch in and help in service whenever the need arises


• Work with the Cashier and relieve Cashiers on break

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Hostess preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills positive and approachable.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or guest relations is preferred.
