Accor is seeking a storekeeper/inventory assistant in Dubai to manage receiving, storage, and inventory records for hotel operations. You will verify shipments, maintain stock levels, and coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure timely replenishment.

The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to lift heavy stock as needed, with HACCP knowledge being a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in a hotel setting.

Formación

• Experience as a storekeeper, warehouse clerk, or inventory assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills essential.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to lift and move heavy stock when needed.
• Basic understanding of HACCP or food safety is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Inspecting and verifying all incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and updating inventory databases.
• Organizing and storing items in the storeroom to prevent spoilage or damage.
• Coordinating with hotel departments to understand inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment.
• Communicating with suppliers regarding deliveries, returns, and inventory issues.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations in storage areas and ensuring a clean environment.
• Implementing FIFO practices to minimize waste and keep perishable items fresh.
• Preparing reports on inventory usage, discrepancies, and stock levels for management.
