Job summary

The ideal candidate has a hotel or accounting degree with at least one year of hotel experience, strong English communication, and solid computer literacy; familiarity with Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• At least 1 year of hotel experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Computer literacy is a must; knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review Night Auditors logbook, daily revenue report and daily F&B report with vouchers and trial balance.
• Distribute daily reports after Director of Finance/Financial Controller approval.
• Review rate variance to ensure correct rate is applied.
• Review city ledger and credit card transfers and pass to Accounts Receivable.
• Audit daily cash summary and update General Cashier's report.
• Review cashiers' overages/shortages; review Front Office FX rates as required.
• Conduct weekly float counting of house funds and prepare monthly float count summary.
