Job summary

Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai is seeking an Assistant Income Auditor to verify financial reports and ensure policy compliance. You will review night audit logs, daily revenue and F&B reports with vouchers and trial balance, and circulate outputs after Finance Director approval.

The role requires a degree in hotel management or accounting, plus at least one year in hospitality finance, with strong English communication and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy; knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review Night Auditor's logbook, daily revenue report, and daily Food & Beverage report with vouchers and trial balance.
• Distribute daily reports after Director of Finance/Financial Controller's approval.
• Review rate variance to ensure correct application.
• Review city ledger and credit card transfers and forward to Accounts Receivable.
• Check cashiers' overages/shortages and review Front Office FX rates as needed.
• Conduct weekly float counts and prepare monthly float count summaries.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Income Auditor, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all financial reports to ensure proper authorization in compliance with the applicable policies and procedures, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Review and verify Night Auditors logbook, daily revenue report and daily Food & Beverage report with supporting vouchers and trial balance
• Distribute daily reports after obtaining Director of Finance / Financial Controller's approval
• Review rage variance report to ensure the correct rate is applied
• Review the city ledger and credit card transfers of the day and pass the same to the Accounts Receivable
• Review overages and shortages of Cashiers and take appropriate action and review Front Office foreign exchange rates as and when required
• Conduct float counting of all house fund holders on a weekly basis and prepare a monthly float count summary.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy is a must, knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an asset.
