Job summary

Minor Hotels (Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel) seeks a mid-senior Government Relations Manager in Dubai, UAE to lead visa processing and regulatory compliance. You will liaise with MOHRE, GDRFA, Dubai Municipality, and DED while overseeing permits and licenses essential to a luxury hotel.

The role requires proven government liaison experience in hospitality, strong UAE regulatory knowledge, and the ability to multitask across busy shift patterns within a luxury property.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Government Relation Manager or similar role.
• Experience in a luxury hotel with at least 500 keys.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
• Willingness to work in shifts and multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of all visa types (employment, residence, guest/entertainer).
• Liaise with MOHRE, GDRFA, Dubai Municipality, and DED.
• Monitor renewal of permits and licenses (hotel trade, liquor, civil defense).
• Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements to minimize penalties.
• Handle immigration/labour submissions for cancelled/absconding employees.
