Job summary

ENNISMORE in Dubai is seeking a Cost Controller to safeguard Mama’s budget across all hotel operations. You will monitor daily, weekly, and monthly costs, audit reports, and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to optimise spend while maintaining guest experience.

You will leverage strong Excel skills to analyze variances, propose cost-saving actions, and support budgeting and forecasting processes within a fast-paced hospitality team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Cost Control, Accounting, or a similar role within hospitality.
• Strong understanding of cost control principles, accounting procedures, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Excel proficiency and experience with financial/accounting systems.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly costs to keep Mama on budget.
• Spot cost report discrepancies and identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Review purchase orders, invoices and contracts to ensure expenses align with terms.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations and other departments for cost-effective operations.
• Prepare regular cost performance and variance reports for management.
