Job summary

NMC in Dubai seeks an experienced Storekeeper to oversee ordering, receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing materials for hospital departments. You will supervise store personnel, ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines.

Responsibilities include vendor coordination, timely replenishment, cycle counts, and coordinating with clinical staff to meet stock levels while maintaining a clean, organized storeroom and accurate documentation using the department's systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate with B.Com. and storeroom supervision experience.
• Good English; Arabic language advantageous but not essential.
• Computer literate and familiar with inventory systems.
• ISO 9000 awareness or Imports/Exports management training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ordering, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and shipping materials for hospital departments.
• Supervises store personnel and ensures accuracy of stock records.
• Researches vendors, selects goods, and purchases within budget guidelines.
• Inspects received items for weight, count and condition; resolves issues with vendors.
• Maintains clean, sanitary storeroom and rotates stock to prevent expiry.
• Prepares MRN/POs for medical and non-medical items; coordinates deliveries.
• Monitors stock levels, conducts weekly/semi-annual inventories, and reconciles records.
• Coordinates with departments to plan range and quality of materials stocked.
