Job summary

Numex Healthcare LLC in the UAE seeks a Sales Engineer to drive hospital engineering solutions across the territory. You will identify opportunities, prepare technical proposals and coordinate with engineering and sales teams to meet client requirements.

The role involves site visits, product demonstrations, and close collaboration with hospital management, consultants, and project teams, including travel across the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in technical sales and business development for hospital clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with hospitals, healthcare facilities, clinics and medical institutions across the assigned territory
• Promote and sell hospital engineering solutions, medical infrastructure systems and technical products in line with client requirements
• Understand hospital engineering needs and recommend suitable technical solutions based on existing infrastructure, operational requirements and project specifications
• Conduct hospital site visits, technical assessments and client meetings to identify project requirements and potential business opportunities
• Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, cost estimates and product presentations in coordination with the sales and engineering teams
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to hospital management, consultants, biomedical engineering teams, IT departments and facilities management personnel
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, MEP teams, procurement departments and project managers to promote products and secure project approvals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital decision-makers, healthcare consultants, contractors and key accounts
• Follow up on sales enquiries, tenders, RFQs and quotations to convert opportunities into confirmed orders
• Review technical specifications, tender documents, BOQs and project requirements to ensure compliance with client expectations and applicable standards
• Coordinate with internal engineering, project installation and service teams to ensure smooth product delivery, installation, commissioning and after-sales support
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, upcoming hospital projects and business opportunities within the healthcare sector
• Achieve assigned sales targets, expand the customer base and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and regular sales reports
• Provide technical support to customers and resolve product-related queries in coordination with the relevant technical teams
• Ensure effective communication between clients and internal departments throughout the sales cycle from initial enquiry to project handover
