Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Survey & Track Inspector for the PMEC High-Speed Rail Project between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. You will perform site survey, setting-out of civil works and inspect track/ permanent way to ensure alignment, level and quality per design data.

You will also participate in testing, handover documentation and non-conformance management, coordinating with QA/QC teams to maintain measurement records and comply with project standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background in railway surveying or track inspection with knowledge of the other.
• Working knowledge of track geometry, alignment, construction quality procedures and survey/track inspection methods.
• Experience with surveying instruments: total stations, GNSS, digital levels, and track geometry trolleys.
• Ability to work accurately in a high-speed rail construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site survey and setting-out of civil works, including earthworks, concrete, structures, drainage and utilities.
• Inspect permanent way and track works, including rail, sleepers, fastenings, ballast or slab track, welding and track geometry.
• Support testing and commissioning activities related to survey and track works.
• Raise and track non-conformance reports and maintain survey/quality records.
