Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Survey & Track Inspector for the PMEC High-Speed Rail Project between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. You will perform site survey, set-out civil works, and inspect track geometry to ensure alignment with approved designs and tolerances.

The role requires expertise in railway surveying, QA/QC processes, and hands-on use of total stations, GNSS, and digital levels in a high-speed rail environment. On-site work in Abu Dhabi is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in survey, inspection or site supervision, including railway projects.
• Strong knowledge of track geometry, alignment and QA/QC procedures.
• Hands-on experience with surveying instruments such as total stations, GNSS and digital levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct survey and setting-out of civil works including earthworks and structures.
• Inspect permanent way and track works against drawings and standards.
• Attend and witness track-related testing and verification activities.
• Raise NCRs and manage quality records and checklists.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA/QC teams.
