Your Role

As a High School Biology Teacher, you will deliver IB and NGSS Biology within an international learning environment that values scientific enquiry, curiosity, and academic achievement. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive IB and NGSS Biology lessons to High School students in accordance with the school 's curriculum and educational standards.
• Develop creative and effective teaching strategies that encourage an interest in Biology and strengthen critical thinking skills.
• Apply inquiry-based learning and practical science instruction to develop students ' understanding of biological concepts.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Maintain continuity and consistency in curriculum delivery.
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive and effective learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree combined with a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, State License, or equivalent specialising in Biology.
• Proven experience teaching IB and NGSS Biology at High School level.
• Experience within an American curriculum or IB curriculum school is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and practical science instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to continually improving professional practice and delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
