Job summary

Wadan Developments LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical planning, design coordination, and execution of high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

You will ensure all technical aspects meet quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines within budget, while coordinating with architects, structural, MEP, and civil teams to maintain design accuracy and constructability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Professional engineering certification or membership is preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of UAE experience in construction.
• Proven experience managing high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural systems, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
• Thorough understanding of local building codes, authority approvals, and construction regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all technical aspects of high-rise construction projects from design through project completion.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, and civil consultants to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Review and approve construction drawings, technical submittals, material specifications, and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to project teams during construction.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure QA/QC standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating materials and vendors.
• Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost and performance.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for management and clients.
• Mentor and develop engineering and technical staff.
