Job summary

Remotedxb in Dubai is seeking a skilled HIM Auditor to perform comprehensive coding audits across E/M and CPT code sets, spanning inpatient and outpatient services. You will review diverse specialties and ensure adherence to applicable guidelines.

The role requires 2-5 years of audit experience, AHIMA or AAPC certification, and strong EMR/HIPAA proficiency. On-site position in Dubai with opportunities for client-facing seminars and project work.

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC certification required.
• 2-5 years' experience performing E/M audits and reviews.
• Proficient with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform coding audits and reviews on E/M, surgical CPT, hospitalist, annual well visits, inpatient pro-fee and outpatient pro-fee.
• Audit a variety of specialties including Primary Care, ENT, Nephrology, Urology, Cardiology, Thoracic, Neurology, ED, OB-GYN, Behavioral Health, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology.
• Research regulatory and coding guidelines (Official Coding Guidelines, Medicare/Medicaid Claims Processing Manual, OIG guidance, LCDs/NCDs, NCIs).
• Assist in designing and presenting educational seminars to clients and staff.
• Collaborate with HIM Consulting on senior-level projects, tool development, staff education, and coding content creation for clients.
