Job summary

ATTIKO is seeking an experienced Head Waitress to lead the front-of-house team at our Dubai rooftop dining and nightlife destination. You will oversee service during busy nights, ensure high standards, and deliver memorable experiences with expert wine recommendations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a senior service role within upscale venues, strong wine knowledge, and excellent English communication. Dubai/UAE hospitality experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in the same or a similar senior service role.
• Prior experience in an upscale restaurant, rooftop lounge, nightlife or lifestyle venue.
• Dubai/UAE hospitality experience strongly preferred.
• WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is required; Level 2 is highly preferred.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service team and oversee assigned sections during operations.
• Conduct pre-service briefings and allocate stations and responsibilities.
• Ensure the team follows the brand standards and service sequence.
• Welcome guests, explain menus and provide informed food and beverage recommendations.
• Demonstrate strong wine knowledge and recommend wine pairings.
• Handle VIP guests, special requests and complaints professionally.
• Monitor table service, order accuracy, presentation and timing.
• Support training and development of waiters and junior team members.
• Drive revenue through confident recommendations and upselling.

We are seeking an experienced and guest-focused Head Waitress to join the front-of-house team at ATTIKO.

The Head Waitress will lead the service team during daily operations, maintain high service standards and ensure guests receive an engaging and memorable experience. The successful candidate should have strong wine knowledge, leadership ability and experience within an upscale, high-volume lifestyle venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the service team and oversee assigned sections during operations.
• Conduct pre-service briefings and allocate stations and responsibilities.
• Ensure the team follows the approved sequence of service and brand standards.
• Welcome guests, explain menus and provide informed food and beverage recommendations.
• Demonstrate strong wine knowledge and recommend suitable wine pairings.
• Handle VIP guests, special requests and complaints professionally.
• Monitor table service, order accuracy, presentation and service timing.
• Support the training and development of waiters and junior team members.
• Drive revenue through confident recommendations and upselling.
• Coordinate closely with reception, bar, kitchen and management teams.
• Ensure billing and POS transactions are completed accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness, grooming and food-safety standards.
• Support supervisors and managers during busy services, events and nightlife operations.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the same or a similar senior service role.
• Previous experience within an upscale restaurant, rooftop lounge, nightlife or lifestyle venue.
• Dubai or UAE hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum WSET Level 1 Award in Wines; WSET Level 2 is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails and food pairing.
• Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a service team.
• Confident in handling VIP and international guests.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, late-night environment.
