The ideal candidate will hold a hospitality degree, have 2+ years in fine dining, expert knowledge of service protocols, and demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced, multicultural setting. This full-time role offers exposure to premium brands and clear career growth within the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent professional experience in fine dining service.
• Minimum of 2 years of front-of-house service experience in high-volume, fine dining, or luxury hospitality venues.
• Proven experience in a similar position.
• Advanced knowledge of service protocols, dining etiquette, and international service standards.
• Strong understanding of food, wine, and beverage offerings and the ability to guide guests through offerings confidently.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and train teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Head Waiter to lead front-of-house service operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences across CLAP Dubai. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery of service excellence, strong team leadership capabilities, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of hospitality in a high-volume, high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Leadership

• Engage actively with guests to gather direct feedback and drive positive, lasting impressions
• Handle guest requests, enquiries, and complaints professionally and courteously, escalating when needed

Menu & Sales Excellence

• Master the premium menu and coach team members on dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Promote seasonal items, beverage options, and special menu offerings to enhance guest spend and experience
• Make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs
• Ensure team confidence in menu knowledge through consistent guidance during service

Team Coordination & Communication

• Provide coaching, motivation, and real-time feedback to waiters during service
• Liaise with restaurant management on food-related issues and reception on guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and return times
• Monitor order accuracy and ownership of special requests, allergies, and dietary requirements

Operational Standards

• Ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment are prepared and available before service
• Maintain spotless cleanliness and organization of the dining section throughout opening hours
• Monitor opening and closing checklists to ensure all duties are completed
• Handle bill payments and financial transactions accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in fine dining service.

• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and late nights as required.
