Job summary

Dorchester Collection in Dubai seeks a Head Valet - Laundry to oversee Uniform, Linen and Valet Operations, guiding a multicultural team to sustain the highest Dorchester standards.

You will manage daily shifts, coordinate with external laundry, inspect items, control costs and prepare monthly laundry reports while delivering outstanding guest service in a luxury, five-star environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar luxury 5-star role.
• Strong leadership skills to guide a multicultural team.
• Excellent guest service ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage budgets and contribute to financial goals.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Uniform, Linen and Valet Operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Lead daily Valet Department operations and develop a diverse team.
• Manage shift coverage and ensure procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with external laundry provider for timely service.
• Inspect returned items for cleanliness, stains, damage and accountability.
• Maintain guest and colleague satisfaction while respecting budget.
• Monitor controllable expenses and compare to budget/forecast.
• Conduct inventories and maintain records for par levels and losses.
• Prepare monthly laundry reports and cost analyses.
• Order operating equipment, uniforms and linen as needed.
• Uphold Dorchester Collection values in daily operations.
