Job summary

Career Nest Academy in Downtown Dubai seeks a receptionist with a passion for guest relations in a fine dining setting. You will manage reservations across WhatsApp, Instagram, and telephone, welcome guests, allocate tables, and present the concept and art behind the room.

Fluent English is required; Japanese is a plus. The role includes coordinating with service/kitchen and marketing, with a six-day workweek and evening service only in a vibrant, arts-forward restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Previous reception or guest relations experience in fine dining.
• Fluent in a reservations system and comfortable across social channels.
• English fluent; Japanese is an advantage. Already in the UAE.

Job description

An independent Japanese Wagyu omakase restaurant in Downtown Dubai. Michelin-recommended in its first year and awarded two toques by Gault&Millau. Counter service a curated art collection throughout the room and evening service only.

Reception here sits at the front of a dining room that is also an art gallery. You run the book across telephone WhatsApp and Instagram own the seating and present the concept the artworks and the culture behind them to every guest who walks in. Target start is 1 November.
