Job summary

Remitly Inc. seeks a strategic Head of Operations in Abu Dhabi to oversee UAE outsourcing, governance, regulatory compliance and scalable processes.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk and the regional leadership to drive operational excellence and strong data-driven decision making. You will manage incident response, regulatory reporting to the CBUAE, and cross-functional collaboration across the UAE entity to ensure service quality and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing outsourcing in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with CBUAE Outsourcing Regulation and related guidelines.
• Ability to build dashboards and reports for governance committees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UAE outsourcing framework, classifications and risk.
• Maintain UAE outsourcing register and audit-ready records.
• Establish and govern ICAs for UAE services from group entities.
• Monitor in-country vs offshore outsourcing and ensure regulatory no-objection.
• Lead incident management and escalation to Compliance and stakeholders.
• Own 1LOD risk assessments and control inventories for outsourced functions.
• Maintain governance for customer service operations, complaints and service performance.
• Develop UAE Business Continuity Plan and test resilience regularly.
• Collaborate with UAE CEO and regional leadership to implement policies.
