Job summary

HSBC is seeking a high-calibre leader to head Performance and Delivery for IWPB in the UAE. The role focuses on shaping operating models, governance, and end-to-end delivery across Risk and Compliance. You will coordinate strategic initiatives and ensure robust reporting to senior leadership.

You will work with the CRCO IWPB and regulators, aligning resources, budgets and timelines to drive delivery while maintaining strong governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• A full-time graduation degree of at least three years is essential for UAE visa and work permit.
• Substantial experience in Chief of Staff, Global Business Management, or Chief Operating Office roles within HSBC.
• Experience working across risk and business roles within financial services.
• Track record shaping and delivering strategic initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Risk & Compliance operating model for IWPB UAE.
• Set up governance standards and reporting across the function.
• Oversee design and execution of strategic initiatives across IWPB, partnering with OpCo-1 and Transformation.
• Manage day-to-day operational requirements including people strategy and resourcing.
• Build and maintain control structures and performance scorecards.
