Job summary

Infinite People is seeking a Head of Projects - Events for a well-established UAE-based events and entertainment company. You will lead the planning, governance, and delivery of client and internal projects, managing a team of Project Managers and Project Executives to ensure high quality, creative output and client satisfaction.

The role demands extensive experience in events, with strong governance, budgeting, and stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering large-scale projects

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management with leadership responsibility.
• Background in events, experiential, entertainment, tourism, or destination development.
• Experience managing complex, high-value or large-scale projects.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Commercially aware, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience establishing project governance, systems and processes.
• UAE or GCC experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of multiple large-scale projects from concept to execution.
• Oversee scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and overall delivery performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Executives.
• Establish and improve project governance, SOPs and reporting standards.
• Work closely with senior leadership, clients and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify potential delivery risks and drive timely solutions and corrective actions.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency and consistency across the project portfolio.

As Head of Projects - Events, you will take overall responsibility for the planning, governance, and successful delivery of client and internal projects.

You will lead a team of Project Managers and Project Executives, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, creativity, operational excellence, budget, timelines and client satisfaction.

The role will be instrumental in strengthening project governance, implementing scalable processes and developing a high-performance project management culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of multiple large-scale projects from concept through execution.
