Job summary

I R S HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY TRADING DWC-LLC in Dubai South Free Zone is seeking a procurement head to own the entire sourcing to delivery cycle. You will manage a remote sourcing manager, set clear requirements, and drive results under the GM’s guidance.

You will lead supplier negotiations, coordinate international logistics, and ensure accuracy of documentation while building a scalable procurement function within the growing company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement and/or logistics of industrial equipment, heavy machinery or spare parts, incl. 2+ years running a function or a team.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar / Komatsu equipment and parts market; dealers, alternative suppliers — advantageous.
• International logistics experience: sea, multimodal freight, UAE free zones, export/import docs; CIS deliveries — advantage.
• Russian language native or fluent; English at professional working level for supplier correspondence and negotiations.
• Excel / Google Sheets proficiency; ERP / CRM experience (1C, Bitrix24).

Responsibilities

• Sourcing: identify suppliers of machinery, engines and parts; RFQs; landed cost; quote vs purchase price.
• Purchasing: manage POs, terms, lead times, payment requests, readiness checks, shipping documents.
• Logistics: handle sea, road, air; coordinate forwarders and routes UAE, China, Europe to Russia/CIS ports and rails; manage warehouse and insurance.
• Records: maintain order database, weekly shipping report, timely finance docs; migrate records to Bitrix24.
• Team: assign sourcing manager tasks, perform quote checks, report weekly to GM.
• Development: pursue new suppliers, routes and product lines to deliver results.

Dubai South Free Zone · full-time · office-based · reports to the General Manager. Fluent Russian and working English are both required.

About us: an international trading company supplying mining and construction machinery, engines and spare parts (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cummins, Epiroc) to mining companies in the CIS.

The role: we are rebuilding procurement for growing equipment volumes and need a head who owns the whole chain — from price request to delivery to the client — and manages a remote sourcing manager. The GM sets the task and expects the result; how to get there is your call.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing: suppliers of machinery, engines and parts (dealers, independents, reman); RFQs and landed cost; quote price = purchase price.
• Purchasing: POs, terms and lead times, payment requests, readiness control, shipping documents.
• Logistics: sea, road, air; forwarders and routes from the UAE, China and Europe to ports and rail stations in Russia and the CIS; consolidation, free-zone warehouse; cost and deadline control, insurance, claims.
• Records: order database, weekly shipping report, documents for finance on time; move department records to Bitrix24.
• Team: tasks for the sourcing manager, quote checks, weekly status to the GM.
• Development projects: new suppliers, routes and product lines — taken to a result, not to a first step.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in procurement and/or logistics of industrial equipment, heavy machinery or spare parts, incl. 2+ years running a function or a team.
• Knowledge of the Caterpillar / Komatsu equipment and parts market (part numbers, dealers, alternative suppliers) — strong advantage.
• International logistics: sea and multimodal freight, Incoterms, UAE free zones, export/import documentation; deliveries to Russia / CIS — advantage.
• Russian — native or fluent (mandatory); English — professional working level (supplier correspondence and negotiations).
• Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables); ERP / CRM experience (1C, Bitrix24) — plus.
• UAE resident only.
