Job summary

Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Operations Leader to drive production planning, capacity management and resource forecasting for large-scale fabrication and EPC projects.

You will lead Lean, Kaizen and TPM initiatives, oversee cost control and inventory, mentor managers, and report to the COO, ensuring safety, quality and profitability across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate with B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical, Industrial.
• 20 Years of Experience in similar kind of industry.
• Minimum 10 years in senior operational leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing workforces exceeding 1,000 personnel.
• Extensive heavy fabrication, offshore construction, EPC or industrial manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, AWS, ABS, DNV and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop production capacity plans and resource forecasts.
• Monitor workshop loading, crane utilization, equipment availability and workforce loading.
• Identify areas to increase productivity by exploring cost reductions and process optimization.
• Oversee inventory control to ensure consumables and stock are available at reasonable costs.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and digital production monitoring initiatives.
• Mentor and develop Production Managers, Construction Managers, Workshop Managers and Supervisors; establish succession plans.
• Prepare MIS reports for COO and Board.
• Adhere to HSE and Quality policies including API Q1 and ISO standards.
