Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Head of Department for Controls, Instrumentation & Telecommunication. You will lead and develop the discipline teams across onshore and offshore projects, ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality delivery for major clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum 25 years of experience in onshore/offshore mega projects with strong leadership.
Minimum 5 years in Head of Discipline or equivalent leadership role.

Responsibilities

Drive HSSE culture and performance across the discipline teams for onshore and offshore projects.
Ensure engineering integrity, governance, and safe delivery of all work scopes.
Provide line management and mentorship for discipline engineers and oversee competencies.
Support business development and proposals with discipline input and technical assurance.
