Job summary

Eatx, a Dubai-based hospitality group, is seeking an experienced Head of IT to steer technology strategy, infrastructure and digital transformation across a growing portfolio of brands and venues.

This strategic lead role requires deep tech expertise aligned with hospitality operations, to deliver scalable, secure and commercially focused IT solutions that support growth and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in Hospitality / F&B.
• Experience managing multi-site / multi-brand environments.
• Expertise in restaurant POS, ERP, integrations, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Commercially minded with strong data, reporting and revenue controls.
• Strategic leader capable of transformation and operational continuity.

Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide IT strategy, digital transformation and technology roadmap.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity and 24/7 business continuity across all venues and Head Office.
• Lead POS, ERP, inventory, reservations, HR/payroll, CRM and system integrations.
• Drive data, BI, flash reporting and real-time outlet profitability visibility.
• Establish IT governance, access controls, revenue assurance and internal controls.
• Lead technology setup for new restaurant openings and expansion projects.
• Build and develop a high-performing IT team, manage vendors and SLAs.
• Own IT budgeting, cost optimisation and technology ROI.
• Partner with Operations, Finance and senior leadership to leverage technology for efficiency and guest experience.

We are looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead our technology strategy, infrastructure and digital transformation across a growing portfolio of F&B brands and multiple locations.

This is a strategic leadership role for someone who understands both technology and hospitality operations, and can build scalable, secure and commercially focused IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Group-wide IT strategy, digital transformation and technology roadmap
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity and 24/7 business continuity across all venues and Head Office
• Lead POS, ERP, inventory, reservations, HR/payroll, CRM and system integrations
• Drive data, BI, flash reporting and real-time outlet profitability/margin visibility
• Establish IT governance, access controls, revenue assurance and internal controls
• Lead technology setup for new restaurant openings and expansion projects
• Build and develop a high-performing IT team and manage key technology vendors and SLAs
• Own IT budgeting, cost optimisation and technology investment ROI
• Partner closely with Operations, Finance and senior leadership to leverage technology for efficiency, guest experience and business growth

The ideal candidate:

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within Hospitality / F&B
• Strong experience managing multi-site / multi-brand environments
• Proven expertise in restaurant POS, ERP, integrations, infrastructure and cybersecurity
• Commercially minded with strong understanding of data, reporting and revenue controls
• Strategic leader who is equally comfortable driving transformation and managing day-to-day operational continuity
