Job Description:

• Assume responsibility for managing facilities operations, planning, coordinating, and organizing work activities, and conducting regular inspection visits to ensure that all employees perform their duties efficiently and effectively in accordance with the required standards and specifications. Prepare the necessary estimated financial budgets, develop work policies, systems, and procedures, recommend improvements and enhancements, and identify appropriate solutions to operational issues and challenges.
• Develop facilities operation and maintenance plans and programmes, determine the estimated budgets required for preventive and corrective maintenance works, and follow up on periodic reports with supervising engineers and maintenance technicians.
• Monitor the updating of market and leased premises data across official systems, websites, and geographical maps to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information.
• Supervise security and guarding operations and ensure that all security and safety requirements are provided to safeguard visitors, while ensuring that security guards perform their duties effectively.
• Supervise traffic and vehicle operations at the sites, including all activities related to vehicle maintenance, licensing, and insurance, in coordination with the Transport Department. Organize drivers’ duties and shifts accordingly.
• Prepare periodic reports on work progress, highlighting achievements against performance indicators, challenges and difficulties encountered, measures taken to address them, and recommendations required to improve and develop operations. Organize monthly work schedules for employees under the Department, ensure compliance with the approved schedules, monitor their leave, and oversee all related administrative matters in coordination with the concerned parties.
• Prepare periodic reports on work progress, highlighting achievements against performance indicators, challenges and difficulties encountered, measures taken to address them, and recommendations required to improve and develop operations.
• Comply with information security policies and protect data and information in accordance with the Municipality’s approved Data Classification Policy. Report any violations or security breaches through the channels designated by the Department and participate in information security-related training programmes.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the nature and scope of the position, as assigned by the competent authority.
