Job summary

Involved Solutions LTD. partners with a leading UAE omnichannel retailer to appoint a Head of Data. The role will set data strategy, shape the technical direction and build a function delivering commercial value across retail channels.

You will lead a team across engineering, analytics, data science and governance, own the data platform architecture, and drive a unified customer view that informs data-driven decision making at executive level.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of data leadership experience in large organisations.
• Deep retail data knowledge: customer analytics, merchandising, supply chain.
• Strong cloud data platform and analytics infrastructure knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, analytics, data science.
• Commercial focus with ability to tie data initiatives to revenue and margins.
• C-suite credibility and strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the data strategy aligning capability with commercial priorities.
• Build and scale a data function spanning engineering, analytics, data science and governance.
• Own architecture and evolution of the data platform for advanced analytics and AI.
• Develop a unified customer view across online and offline channels.
• Establish data governance and quality standards.
• Partner with leadership to embed data-driven decision making.
