Job summary

Syscort Technologies in the UAE seeks a hands-on Operations professional to own and improve the day-to-day operating system across departments. You will identify bottlenecks, build processes and SOPs, implement systems, train staff, and drive execution to reduce founder dependency.

• 5-10 years in Business Operations, Process Excellence, or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Understand how Sales, Presales, Delivery, Finance, HR, Marketing and Administration operate; map as-is and design to-be processes.
• Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, workflows, templates and policies; implement them.
• Take ownership of operational projects; drive them to completion and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize using available systems and AI tools.
• Build onboarding processes and training; establish KPIs and dashboards; conduct weekly reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs, delays and founder dependency.

Role Objective

Own and improve Syscort's day-to-day operating system. The person will work across departments to identify operational problems, build processes and SOPs, implement systems, train employees, drive execution and continuously improve how the business operates.

The objective is to make Syscort less dependent on the founder and individual employees and increasingly run through clear processes, systems, automation and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Process Understanding Understand how Sales, Presales, Delivery, Finance, HR, Marketing and Administration operate. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, duplication, communication gaps and founder dependencies. Map AS-IS processes and design practical TO-BE processes. Establish clear ownership, responsibilities, approvals and escalation paths.

Process & SOP Implementation Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, workflows, templates and policies. Convert processes into practical operating procedures that employees can actually follow. Implement processes rather than only documenting them. Regularly review and improve SOPs based on business feedback.

Hands-on Execution Take ownership of operational projects and drive them to completion. Follow up with department owners and ensure agreed actions are implemented. Resolve cross-functional operational issues. Step in where processes are unclear or ownership is missing. Build structure around areas currently dependent on the CEO.

Systems & Automation Optimize Hub Spot, Rippling, project management, finance and other business systems. Identify repetitive/manual processes suitable for automation. Work with Syscort's technical team to implement workflow automation and AI. Ensure systems support the defined business process and data flows.

Employee Onboarding & Training Build role-specific onboarding processes. Train new hires on SOPs, systems and workflows. Ensure employees understand their responsibilities, KPIs and escalation paths. Maintain a central knowledge base for company processes.

Performance & Governance Define operational KPIs and dashboards. Monitor whether processes are being followed. Run weekly operational reviews and track action items. Identify recurring problems and drive root-cause resolution. Escalate only significant exceptions to the CEO.

Continuous Improvement Continuously look for ways to reduce cost, manual work, delays and dependency on individuals. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate. Measure the impact of operational improvements.

First 90 Days

0-30 Days: Understand the business, map key processes and identify major operational bottlenecks and CEO dependencies.

31-60 Days: Implement priority processes, SOPs, ownership structures, dashboards and system improvements.

61-90 Days: Train teams, enforce processes, automate selected workflows and establish a sustainable operating cadence.

Ideal Candidate

5-10 years in Business Operations, Process Excellence, Management Consulting, PMO, Business Transformation or a similar role. Hands-on executor who is comfortable doing the work, not just managing it. Strong process mapping, SOP and project execution skills. Comfortable working across multiple departments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable with CRM, HRMS, ERP, automation and AI tools. Highly organized, analytical and proactive. Able to work independently in a fast-growing company.

This is a hands-on builder/operator role with a potential path to Head of Operations / COO as Syscort scales.
