Job summary

Quanterra Group seeks a Head of Building Consultancy to lead the Valuation & Advisory division in the UAE. You will manage the Building Consultancy department, act as the client contact, and ensure contractual obligations are met.

The role oversees project management consultancy and building surveying across multiple projects, with a focus on strategic leadership and business development. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in building surveying, project management, and regulatory

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or equivalent in Real Estate, Engineering or Construction.
• Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the building consultancy team.
• Manage and mentor a team of building surveyors and develop their professional skills.
• Coordinate and allocate resources to projects effectively.
• Develop project plans, timelines and budgets with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as main contact for key accounts.
• Conduct detailed surveys, prepare reports on defects and renovations.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards.
• Identify business development opportunities and collaborate on marketing strategies.
• Institute quality assurance and drive process improvements.
