Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) seeks a Strategic Leader to define and drive the R&D strategy for Alloy Process Development, guiding the innovation roadmap from concept through customer-ready validation. You will steward early alloy design, lab screening and small-scale trials to identify promising compositions before scale-up.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification (MSc/PhD) strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in aluminium R&D or metallurgical process engineering with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the R&D strategy for alloy process development and roadmap.
• Oversee early alloy design using computational tools and lab trials.
• Translate lab success to robust industrial processes across casting, forming and heat treatment.
• Provide evidence-based decisions with traceable validation data per ISO/ASTM.
• Champion Emiratisation and build a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
