Job summary

Sana Commerce in Dubai is seeking a Teamlead Research and Design to steer the AI-native product vision for agentic commerce. You will lead a team responsible for research, design, and end-to-end product experience, collaborating with global leaders on strategic initiatives and establishing the design system and standards.

You will own the team direction, drive innovation, and ensure a high bar for fidelity and speed in a fast-growing SaaS environment with hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building AI-powered or agentic products with demonstrable prototypes or examples.
• Strong portfolio of commercially shipped products used by real customers with measurable impact.
• Experience leading both product design and user research, owning end-to-end experience.
• Track record using user, market and industry research to shape product direction.
• AI fluency across research and design, incl. AI design systems with tokens and scalable architecture.
• Experience leading and developing designers and researchers, collaborating with PMs and tech teams.
• Experience in e-commerce is strongly preferred (B2B or B2C).

Responsibilities

• Lead the research and design team towards a clear product vision for agentic commerce.
• Own the end-to-end product experience, ensuring cohesion and trust across journeys.
• Define how agents transact with AI-native design, including transparency and fallback.
• Develop a machine-readable design system to enable AI generation at scale.
• Manage the research agenda on agentic commerce and buyer/seller behavior shifts.
• Set craft standards for fidelity and speed with a small, high-performing team.
