Job summary

Sana Commerce is seeking a Head of Research and Design in Dubai to lead an AI-native product and an agentic commerce experience. You’ll shape the direction, stay hands-on, and guide a team to deliver innovative user experiences across channels.

You’ll own the end-to-end journey, set standards, and work with global leaders on strategic initiatives, including a design system that scales with AI. This role combines design leadership with hands-on research and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building AI-powered or agentic products with demonstrable prototypes or shipped outcomes.
• Strong portfolio of commercially shipped products with measurable user or business impact.
• Experience leading both product design and user research, owning end-to-end product experience while contributing hands-on in research and prototyping.
• Track record of using user, market and industry research to shape product direction.
• Practical fluency with AI across the research and design process, including token-driven design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research and design team towards an AI-native product and agentic commerce experience.
• Own end-to-end user journeys, ensuring cohesion, trust and high performance across screens and interactions.
• Define the research agenda and steer where industry and buyer/seller behavior are heading.
• Develop and uphold a craft bar and scalable methods for a fast-moving team.
• Collaborate with Product Management and technology disciplines to align strategy and delivery.
