Responsibilities

• Identify and anticipate guest needs
• Handle challenging guest situations diplomatically
• Exceed customer expectations regarding quality and service

• Regularly update management on relevant activities
• Maintain an organized system to ensure tasks are completed on time
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning of the departments
• Manage operating expenses to minimize costs while providing excellent guest services
• Maintain room inventory status to optimize revenues and guest satisfaction
• Report to the EAM on performance against budgets and variances
• Control elements that determine profit and loss
• Responsible for major operating expenses and margin management
• Financial management of the operation
• Ensure guests are treated efficiently and courteously
• Resolve and follow up on guest complaints to maintain satisfaction
• Ensure housekeeping standards and policies are followed
• Coordinate activities with other departments to improve communication and satisfaction
• Enhance product and service presented to guests
• Recommend changes using market research
• Hire, train and direct housekeeping associates
• Complete performance appraisals and provide direction
• Monitor plans’ effectiveness and set targets and schedules
• Inspect guest rooms and VIP rooms for quality and feedback
• Regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards
• Maintain product quality and consistency
• Report to EAM on performance against operations and HR
• Coordinate department activities with other departments to improve communication
• Monitor consumption and replacement of supplies
• Oversee employment law considerations and compliance
• Provide other services as requested by EAM and GM
• Prepare attendance reports and submit to concerned departments on time
