Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi seeks a Head Bartender to lead the bar team and deliver exceptional beverage experiences in a luxury setting. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will manage daily operations and uphold Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental standards.

You will train staff in mixology, maintain knowledge of wine and cocktails, and engage guests with personalized recommendations. Prior leadership in a high-end hotel bar is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or professional certification in bartending, mixology, hospitality management or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of bartending in luxury hotel, resort or high-end bar.
• Experience as a leader or supervisor is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operation and lead the bar team.
• Ensure exceptional beverage and guest experience per standards.
• Train bartenders in freestyle bartending, mixology and beverage knowledge.
• Engage guests with cocktails, wines and promotional offerings.
• Maintain inventory knowledge and bar cleanliness throughout operation.
