Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in DIFC, seeks a Head Bartender to supervise daily bar operations, maintain standards and train the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will prepare beverages, contribute to cocktails, ensure smooth service, handle complaints professionally, and manage stock while upholding the brand image and confidentiality. Minimum 2 years in luxury hotels or fine dining and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
• Internationally recognised professional certification.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.
• Impeccable manners.
• Immaculate personal presentation and well-spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following the department Standard Operating Procedures
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu
• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards are constantly met during service periods
• Handle complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure that all the Bar equipment and any other objects needed for service are prepared and available
• Be efficient in keeping beverage wastage to a minimum and ensuring stock under your responsibility is secure
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed
• Support sales and ensure relevant/appropriate suggestions are made with regards to cocktails
