Job summary

Role Description

The Head Bartender is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing bar operations and ensuring excellent guest experiences. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and serving beverages, supervising bartending staff, managing inventory and stock levels, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards behind the bar. The Head Bartender will handle cash transactions, monitor quality and presentation of drinks, and support menu development and promotions. This role also involves training team members, resolving guest concerns, and working closely with management to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and repeat business.
• Effective Communication abilities for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including drink recipes, hygiene standards, and bar menu coordination.
• Proficiency in Cash Handling, including accurate billing, payment processing, and cash reconciliation.
• Hands-on Bartending experience, including mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or lead bartender role is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing bar inventory and workflows.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic reporting is an advantage.
• Relevant hospitality or bar-tending certifications are beneficial.
